Baby Boomers Unite

I'm on the "baby" side of the Boomer Generation, but do remember the Fifth Dimension singing "Aquarius / Let the Sunshine" enjoying their vision of peace and harmony. When I was in my 20s I thought that the saying, "if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem," was an empty platitude, a cliché even. At mid-life, I believe this with certainty.

When the moon is in the 7th House
and Jupiter aligns with Mars
then Peace will guide the planet
and Love will steer the stars.

For astronomers everywhere, the opportunity presented in a song is upon us during the 2006 Winter Solistice (6:22 p.m. CST).

Tonight look up in the skies, and realize fully this time of expansion, clarity, focus and intention. We are smaller than we think, yet our thoughts are bigger than we know.
