Tornado chasers and hurricane hunters are an interesting bunch. It's exhilarating to watch movies like Twister or The Perfect Storm. It's a completely otherworldly scenario, however, to imagine living in the eye of a storm.
Yahoo News gives us an inside look at those brave and edgy Hurricane Hunters. They interviewed members of the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, the only military aircraft that has permission to fly through Cuban air space. That should give you some idea of how important their job is.
