This is what happens when you check your Web stats; you can find really funny websites. Following the breadcrumb trail of a Stumbleupon link, I discovered Dave.
In a 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon sort of way, he and I probably have friends in common. He lives in Royal Oak, Mich. and I lived in West Bloomfield, Mich., a stone's throw away (but much wealthier.) Royal Oak could be called "hip," at least when I lived in MI. Maybe now, it's overrun by college graduates. I don't know. I'll have to ask Dave.
Anyway, Dave also works at Campbell-Ewald advertising agency as EVP, Social Media Director; I had a career in advertising, and they were one of my clients. But that was before the Internet when we had fax machines. Now, I'm a Web marketing consultant with clients anywhere, but the world keeps getting smaller. In fact, one of C-E's former senior executives (from long ago) and I connected on LinkedIn. He now lives in Sarasota, Fla. and I live in Naples, Fla.
Dave's been blogging since June 2004. He's got me beat by a year. I started this blog in July 2005.
Is there a point to this story? No, other than if you involve yourself online for any length of time, life intersects in the most interesting ways. And that's why I love the Internet. I snagged the Infographic below from Davezilla.com because my readers search for male humor a lot. I thought the content and image were quite creative.
Oh, did I mention I'm for hire? I can help your company get found in Google. I'll even be your ghost blogger.
