It's amazing the new blogs I'm finding now that I've put my mind to it. Here's Rodney in Hawaii reminiscing about life. Calling his blog Midlife Crisis Hawaii seems like an oxymoron. You live in Hawaii!! That's like me saying living on the Paradise Coast (Naples, Fla.) is hell. We've been here two years now and other than learning to slow down, there's very little to complain about.
I think the term "midlife crisis" just has a certain ring to it; it doesn't feel so bad if we can label something. Maybe when Rodney started his blog, he was experiencing a midlife crisis. Now, he sounds like a guy who's comfortable in his own skin and likes to share his thoughts.
What's amazing to me is that he receives so many comments. I've wondered about why man-o-pause receives so few comments. After all these years, I count only 95 comments and none for the past few years. Have social sharing platforms taken up the slack? I've noticed that Facebook sends a good amount of traffic.
What do you think? Have social networks eliminated commenting on most blogs?
